K9 Unit

FCPD has two K9 officers:

Sgt. Matt Henry & K9 Officer Raider

K9 Officer Raider / Sgt. Matt Henry

K9 Raider is a Belgian Malinois Shepherd mix trained in detection of explosives. He responds to local needs as well as assisting Georgia Emergency Management Agency with major events across the state.

Capt. Shea Hovers & K9 Officer Lex

K9 Officer Lex / Capt. Shea Hovers

K9 Lex is a Belgian Malinois trained in narcotic detection but also has ability to track, apprehend and search for articles related to police investigations.
