Post-Election Audit Completed for 3.12.2024 Election

The Floyd County Elections & Voter Registration office has concluded their post-election audit as of Wednesday afternoon. Elections Supervisor Akyn Beck reported the audit assignment was a 100% hand audit of all ballots from advanced (in-person) voting, election day voting, and absentee by mail ballots. Over 9,000 ballots were audited with 100% match.

"With the dedication and precision of poll workers and elections staff, we were able to hand audit 100% of voted ballots in Floyd County," stated Beck. "As always, Floyd County Elections promotes transparency and strives for timely and accurate elections results, and our audit proves how seriously we take these goals."
