Voter Education Series

The community is invited to participate in the Floyd County 2023 Voter Education Series. This series will include three training dates covering various topics involving voting procedures, voter registration practices, and ask the experts sessions. This is an exciting opportunity for members of the Floyd County community to gain a better understanding of the Elections department and the democratic process. Our right to vote is not one we should take lightly, and an opportunity to be a more educated voter benefits the voter, polling staff, and even elected officials. We look forward to meeting with the public and educating those interested in taking advantage of this opportunity. 

Citizens who complete all three sessions will be issued a certificate in recognition of their devotion and eagerness to learn. The courses will be held at the Floyd County Elections Office located at 18 East 12th Street, Rome. Training Dates:

• Session 1 - March 28, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
• Session 2 - June 17, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. and (repeat class) at 12:30 p.m.
• Session 3 - November 17, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
