PUBLIC NOTICE: Consider Relocation of South Floyd Polling Location
PUBLIC NOTICE - July 15, 2024
The Floyd County Board of Elections will be holding a vote on August 6, 2024 at 18 East 12th Street, Rome to consider relocation the South Floyd polling location from the VFW Post 4911, located at 2632 Cedartown Hwy SW, Rome, to Georgia Highlands Lakeview Building, located at 3175 Cedartown Hwy SE, Rome. Caucus will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Floyd County Elections Office maintains our effort to protect the electorate, the election staff, and the electoral process and to provide a safe and secure facility to conduct election events. After events occurring during and after the June Run-off election, The Board feels this is the safest course of action to relocate the polling location to Georgia Highlands and encourage input on the vote.
