Old Dalton Road - Paving

Paving 75 miles of existing roads, replacing or repairing four (4) deficient bridges, additional sidewalk/curb and gutter infrastructure work in Riverside and Lindale communities.

Status Updates

1.25.2025 - the Floyd County Board of Commissioners approved the purchase and installation of network switches from Logical Systems for phones and internet for the Glenwood FCPD Project in the amount of $23,420.00. This is a local vendor who supplies network systems for the County in several of our current buildings and was the only quote submitted. This project will be paid from the 2017 SPLOST.

5.14.2024 - BOC approved a request to approve ratification for Cornerstone Concrete Construction for Blacks Bluff Road repair at $106,630.

1.30.2024 - Lindale and Riverside sidewalks and ADA ramps.

11.17.2023 - Bells Ferry, Rehobeth, Gains Loop, and Cabin Creek bridge projects.

3.2023 - School zone flashers, paving on Ward Mountain Road and Old Dalton Road, Riverside concrete and service road relocation for Avenue A lift station. Project is ongoing.
