CPR and AED

Emergency Management is excited to announce SAFE, an emergency preparedness academy for our community that will meet twice a month at our facility on East 12th Street from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Registration is FREE and includes courses taught by EMA staff and our local emergency response teams, including Advent and Atrium EMS and Rome Fire Department.

Our vision is to build a more resilient community. The courses being taught are designed to help our neighbors as they enter their private worlds, interact with the public or conduct day to day business in their work space. Emergencies have no schedule, and when seconds count we fall back on training.

This is an opportunity for each of us to shine a light and promote the great work we are each doing to protect and prepare our community. Our agencies are filled with talented presenters and I am looking forward to seeing them in action; they all receive high marks at every community event and we know their contribution will be appreciated.
