FLOYD COUNTY TO CLOSE ERVIN COKER ROAD

Floyd County, Georgia – Floyd County Public Works will close Ervin Coker Drive beginning Monday, October 10, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. through Wednesday, October 12, 2022 to replace a failed cross drain. Work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. The closing will be at the Ervin Coker Drive and Plainville Road intersection, but will not affect Plainville Road. Citizens are encouraged to use caution due to heavy equipment and large trucks in the area. To navigate around the construction zone, traffic should detour by using Plainville Road, GA Highway 53, GA Highway 140, and Ervin Coker Road.
