Rome-Floyd Planning Department Changes in 2023

To meet the requirements found in HB 1405 pertaining to Zoning Procedures Law, the Rome-Floyd Planning Department will be changing the submission deadline of the Planning Commission, Board of Adjustments, and Historic Preservation Commission.

Revisions to the Zoning Procedures Law became effective July 1, 2022 and have a grace period until July 1, 2023. HB 1405 clarifies the process for appeals of zoning decisions and disputes.
