2023 SPLOST Applications Now Being Accepted
Applications Available Online for Possible 2023 Special Project Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) Referendum

 

Rome, Georgia – Floyd County announced on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 that online applications for a possible 2023 Special Project Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) referendum are now available for citizens on the Floyd County website by visiting www.floydcountyga.gov/2023SPLOSTapp. Citizens are encouraged to submit their applications no later than November 30, 2022. Applications submitted by the November 30, 2022 deadline will be reviewed by Floyd County and City of Rome staff to present proposed operational costs and recommendations to the Citizens SPLOST Committee. Citizens will be able to submit applications until March 31, 2023, however applications submitted after the November 30, 2022 deadline will not be reviewed by staff.
